Create your own Affordable Learning LibGuide

The Affordable Learning Resources Guide was created by Andrea Wright and Tucky Taylor for the Affordable Learning Workshops held January 29 – February 1, 2018. A LibGuides template is available to PASCAL members who would like to create their own guide. If your institution uses LibGuides you can easily find and copy the template and customize it for your users.


Copy the Affordable Learning Resources template guide:

  • Login to LibGuides
  • Go to the create guide screen:
    • ​​From the Home / Dashboard page, click + Create Guide in the LibGuides Shortcuts box
    • Or go to Content > Guides and click the + Create Guide button at the top of the page
  • Choose Layout or Reuse:
    • Select Copy content / layout from an existing guide
    • Choose Community Guides (searches all LibGuides v2 sites)
    • Click in the "Select a guide" box and type the name of the guide: PASCAL Affordable Learning Resource Guide Template
    • Select the guide from the search results
  • Fill out the guide form:
    • Give your guide a new name and add a description, password if you would like
  • Click Create Guide
