Shared LSP

Shared LSP - Public

Project Overview

In August 2018, PASCAL signed a contract with Ex Libris to acquire a statewide Shared Library Service Platform that includes the Alma unified management and Primo discovery and delivery platforms. The in-depth procurement and enrolment process involved substantial member input. Fifty-five libraries from fifty-three institutions committed to participate in the program. Participating libraries will be migrating from seven different integrated library systems with an anticipated Go Live date of June 1, 2020.

The contract with Ex Libris includes migration services as well as the subscription to the Alma and Primo platforms.

Project Goal

Migration of all 55 participating member institutions to the new Alma/Primo SaaS hosted, web-based platform. Development by members of workflows, best practices and service level agreements to support a collaborative shared bibliographic environment for all participating member institutions.

These products will replace the existing integrated library systems (ILS) and discovery systems for all participating libraries.
