PASCAL Template: Tips for Using E-Books

This LibGuide was developed by the PASCAL E-Book Collection Committee to help patrons use the different e-book platforms available through PASCAL.
  • All e-books can be read online on the Oxford Academic platform.
  • Download e-books as individual chapters in PDF form to read offline.
  • E-Books on the Oxford Academic platform are DRM-free; there are no limits to the number of pages or chapters that can be downloaded.
  • There is no special software or platform that is needed to read Oxford University Press e-books offline.
  • Entire e-books cannot be downloaded from Oxford University Press, only chapters.
  • There is no limit to the number of pages or chapters that can be downloaded.

 

To Download a Chapter:

1. Click on the chapter that you would like to download.

2. Click on the PDF icon.

3. A PDF version of the chapter will appear in the browser tab, click the download icon in the top right.

4. Save the PDF to your computer.

5. Find the file on your computer and open it in your PDF reader.
