Shared Library Services Platform Support:
While the PASCAL office is closed (December 24th – January 1st) any time sensitive or critical issue should be reported to Ex Libris via the support portal. Be sure to include the additional email contact of sharedsystem@pascalsc.org so PASCAL staff are aware of the issue.
Any other issues should be reported to the PASCAL HelpDesk. As a reminder, please do not send requests directly to PASCAL staff as that may cause a delay in response. Depending on the issue reported, a response may be provided during the closed period, but most will be addressed when the PASCAL office re-opens on January 2, 2025.
PASCAL Deliver Service Update:
PASCAL Delivers service will not be suspended during the 2024 holiday break. Thanks to recent improvements in processes and resources – including the transition to FedEx for faster delivery, Lender of Last Resort configurations, and shared training and documentation – institutions can now manage request workflows more efficiently and effectively. As a result, suspending the service for all institutions is no longer necessary. Additional information is available for library staff.
