by Ellan Jenkinson on 2024-06-14T09:15:11-04:00 in PASCAL Members, PASCAL News | 0 Comments

PASCAL held an election May 6-17, 2024 to fill two seats on the Shared LSP Steering Committee. The Board’s Program Steering Committee supervised the election and verified the results.

The Shared LSP Steering Committee provides oversight for the Shared Library Services Platform (SLSP) and facilitates alignment to PASCAL’s strategic agenda. The committee is made up of seven members including five elected members representing each type of institution within PASCAL: research, four-year public, four-year independents, two-year colleges, and special libraries.

Christy Allen, Associate Director for Digital and Resource Management at Furman University was re-elected to represent four-year independent institutions.

Richard Moniz, Director of Library Services at Horry-Georgetown Technical College was elected to represent two-year institutions.

Congratulations to the new and returning committee members. Our thanks to all the candidates for their willingness to serve and to all the Library Representatives who cast their vote in the recent election.
