Affordable Learning Webinar Series - January 2019

In January 2019, SCALE will host a series of webinars on affordable learning topics and opportunities. The webinars are appropriate for both librarians and instructors. All webinars will be recorded and posted on the SCALE website for later viewing. The webinars are free and open to all faculty and staff at PASCAL member institutions but registration is required. You are likely aware that open educational resources (OER) are free of cost, but did you know that many are also free of most copyright restrictions? Join us as we discuss the use of both copyrighted and openly licensed course materials. We'll cover copyright, licensing, fair use, Creative Commons, and how it all applies to how you use and create teaching resources.

Faculty Webinar: Human Anatomy & Physiology Resource

January 30, 2019  | 11 am

This one hour webinar, exclusively for faculty at PASCAL member institutions, will provide an overview of the 3D Human Anatomy & Physiology resource and available faculty resources. In this training session you will learn more about:

  • Applying Primal’s Human Anatomy and Physiology for teaching and learning purposes, including how to quickly find what you need around the new HTML5 interface, using intuitive navigation and bookmark functions
  • How to quickly and easily save, download and integrate content with your LMS system, teaching material and work flow
  • How to enhance course materials and presentations by embedding movies, narrated animations, images and text, including the quick-to-use Faculty Area
  • How to drive collaboration by sharing content with others, and how to use the new interface on tablet and mobile devices
  • Have all your questions answered by an experienced Primal Pictures customer training specialist

Registration is required. The webinar will be recorded for later viewing.
