The "REACH Act", South Carolina Act 26 of 2021, requires all undergraduate students to complete a three-credit course that requires, at minimum, the reading of the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Emancipation Proclamation, a minimum of five essays from the Federalist Papers, and one or more documents that are foundational to the African American Freedom struggle.
To help faculty easily access these resources PASCAL has compiled a list of links for online versions of the primary documents and for secondary resources that all PASCAL member institutions have access to.
