Function: Explores, maximizes the use of, and advocates for improvements of the SLSP to develop efficiencies in shared cataloging and metadata activities.
Expectations and Responsibilities: Responsible for the development of guidelines and workflows regarding standard cataloging and metadata activities, as well as facilitating discussions regarding local customization needs. Specific topics include, but are not limited to: guidelines for item and bibliographic description, holdings data, data conversion, authority control, and data clean-up.
