PASCAL Calendar, News, and Announcements

Join us June 10-12, 2025 in Columbia, SC for the PASCAL Member Conference!

Our second annual member conference will bring together library professionals from across the PASCAL community to share knowledge, build connections, and celebrate our collective achievements. With opportunities for in-person and online participation, this year’s conference will feature inspiring sessions, valuable insights, and opportunities for collaboration with colleagues from across the state.

Preconference 

In Person: Tuesday, June 10
Location: Learning Commons at Edens Library, Columbia College

Conference

Hybrid: Wednesday, June 11
Location: Pastides Alumni Center and via Zoom

In Person: Thursday, June 12
Location: Pastides Alumni Center

Registration

Registration for the 2025 PASCAL Member Conference is now open!

Registration for the main conference (June 11-12) is free for all PASCAL members and presenters.

Please note that registration is limited to ten (10) individuals per institution. PASCAL reserves the right to cancel or modify registrations that exceed this limit.

Separate registration is required for the preconference workshop.

Registration will close at 5pm on Friday, May 16, 2025.

PASCAL Member Conference Code of Conduct:

  1. Hospitality: Treat all participants with respect and kindness and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.
  2. Harassment-Free Zone: Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, will not be tolerated.
  3. Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions, both in-person and online, during the conference.
  4. Privacy: Respect the privacy of other participants and refrain from sharing personal information without consent.
  5. Compliance with Policies: Adhere to all conference policies and guidelines set forth by the organizers.
  6. Collaboration: Foster a spirit of collaboration and cooperation among participants, encouraging constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas.
     

By attending the PASCAL Membership Conference, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Violations may result in removal from the conference. Let's create a safe and welcoming environment for all participants to learn and connect.

However, Government/Military rate is available at these hotels (for federal, state, county, local government employees, Military personnel, and State-funded higher education universities and healthcare facilities qualify)
